What do children learn from studying music?

  • Learning to play an instrument teaches young people so much more than simply how to make music.
    – It teaches them how to pursue a skill with: discipline, patience, passion, and perseverance.
  • It teaches them the life skills of: problem-solving, creative thinking, and decision-making needed for any path of life.
  • It teaches them how to apply: math, reading, speaking and singing in a unique and effective way.
  • It allows them to express themselves and develop poise and confidence both on and off stag
  • It teaches them how to appreciate art, beauty and purpose in the world.
